If Pinka was going to be a proper witch, she needed a familiar! There was an alligator down at one of Pinka’s best swamp side reading spots who Pinka had always felt an unexplained connection with. She took it upon herself to tame him one sunny autumn afternoon and in no time they were spending every waking minute together. Pinka named him Humphrey - which means peaceful warrior. She loves to ride on his back, watch him hunt & prepare to attack his prey. He’s been such a comfort to Pinka during these trying times. They trust one another so deeply, Pinka’s favorite place to sleep is in Humphrey’s wide open mouth, her little hand curled around one of his big teeth. As far as familiars go, he may not be the most traditional, but he means the world to her little heart.
